Feeling Sorry for Celia
This book is amazing, it stars Elizabeth, who is so horrible at being a teenager, she begins to get letters from "Associations" telling her to get her act together! That is one of the book's hidden mysteries! She seems to also have trouble in the guys area, and in cross-country running. No dialogue (that isn't part of a letter) is in the book- That's what makes it so good!
But, her life is explained in a series of letters to a pen pal named Christina.
During about a year, she rescues her friend Celia (from joining the circus), sets high running achievement goals, finds a secret admirer and learns what being a teenager and a close friend - is really all about.

Abarat
Just released last year, this great fictional read came in to my home thanks to my dad. It mixes two very different worlds, and involves Candy Quackenbrush from Chickentown U.S.A. A little complicated, but very intrigueing.

This fantasy story has grabbed my attetion and is reeling me in! It's about a young teenager Faris Nalaneen who is the heir to a small throne in Galazon (a country) but she is too young to accept the throne yet, so her uncle rules. He sent Faris to Greenlaw College where students major in magic! I know, it's a little like Harry Potter for a differnt audience.

The Diary of Anne Frank
Wow, who HASN"T read this book, this is the kinda book that actually teaches you something. Anne is a Jew, her family is forced to hide because of Hitler's rule. It's sad, but is a grear way to learn about history through a diary.

The slightly true story of Cedar B Hartley (Who planned to live an unusual life)
This book is deep, it covers everything, but most of all it covers Cedar B. "My Mother was going through a hippie phase, and hippie's tend to name their kids after trees" Quotes Cedar, she's only 12, but knows her future-as an acrobat.
It also has cool acrobat moves you can try at home.

Anne of Green Gables
Go Anne! Everyone loves the P.E.I orphan. She even has her own show now! But we still love the book, no one's too old to read it! It's a classic.

Mates, Dates and Designer Divas
Will somebody please inform me which book is the first of the series?
Oh well, I thought this book was v. v. good. Nesta Williams is a teenager who is what you would call a big drama queen! She ruins everyone's special moments, sometimes even her own. She meets a boy who is MUCH richer than her and becomes enemies with one of his snooty friends Cressida.
This picture of the book doesn't look to good the the book is white, but I 'm really enjoying the story. It's a bout a guy named Holden who goes to Pencey Prep, but is kicked out and on his way to New York City in the 60's. A classic definitely american.
